This interactive update session is designed for healthcare professionals who already undertake travel health consultations and want to refresh their knowledge, explore current challenges and keep up to date with developments in this rapidly changing area.

• Travel Health consultation approach, risk assessment and key resources
• Updates in travel vaccines and current guidance
• Outbreaks and emerging health risks
• Malaria and insect-borne infections including dengue, Zika and chikungunya
• Other important travel health risks
• Case discussions and practical scenarios

Trainer Information
Becky Swadling is an Independent Travel Health Specialist Nurse with extensive experience in travel medicine, clinical practice and education.
She completed the Diploma in Travel Medicine in 2006 and is a Fellow of the British Global Travel Health Association (BGTHA), Associate Member of the Faculty of Travel Medicine, and was Module Lead on the Post Graduate Diploma in Travel Medicine (RCSPG).
Becky has extensive experience working in busy travel clinics, clinic management and developing education programmes for Nurses and Pharmacists. She regularly delivers training and lectures to healthcare professionals working in travel health.
