Basic Life Support, AED & Anaphylaxis – Virtual Training for All Staff

This session is designed to ensure all staff maintain their clinical skills in respect of Basic Life Support (BLS), Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), Automatic External Defibrillation (AED) and the treatment of Anaphylactic reactions that may occur in the healthcare environment.

This session will not involve any hands on experience as it is being run on line via Zoom. However it is a live instructor led session which allows questions to be asked and understanding confirmed.

The Tuition is in line with the Resuscitation Council UK – Guidelines 2025 as relevant to a Primary Care setting.
This Basic Life Support training meets the Skills for Health’s UK Core Skills Training Framework (CSTF) at Level 2 for Basic Life Support.

• The Resuscitation Council (UK) approach to Infant and Child Basic Life Support in Primary Care and community settings by use of the “paediatric modifier” to the adult Basic Life Support protocols.
