Digital Consultation Tools in Primary Care

(Project Team led by Dr Andrew Girdher and  x3 Admin Fellows – Chelsea Markham, Shaya Chivers and Michelle Trenwith)

The Digital Consultation Tools project team assisted practices moving from a traditional model to a modern general GP access model.

The team attended meetings, visited practices, conducted surveys and shared information.  They helped practices work through road blocks such as capacity and funding. They conducted evaluations (see below) which highlighted improved ability to communicate with patients and positive impact on the service provided for patients. Evaluation found lower satisfaction in relation to impact on staff and a 75% satisfaction on improving daily workload.
