We have now expanded this scheme and are looking for new interest from paramedics working in primary care in the BSW region.

We aim to underpin existing support from employers by offering 12 months of free mentoring by highly experienced paramedic Advanced Clinical Practitioners, (ACPs) who are well established in primary care and also have prior experience of teaching and/or mentoring.

Mentors meet their mentees online for an hour per month and work through case-based discussions, areas of interest and jointly identified challenges. They encourage improvement, reflective practice and help signpost mentees to further learning other opportunities.

We have now taken on more mentors and are currently open to applications from paramedics interested in taking part.  We’re particularly keen to hear from those who are new to primary care, but any paramedic working in primary care in the BSW region can apply.
