DESCRIPTION:⭐ THIS TRAINING IS FULLY FUNDED FOR BSW STAFF ⭐ \n➡️This workshop is suitable for: Nurses and Pharmacists. \n💷 NfP Members £75\n💷 Non-Members £120\n_________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________\nThis interactive update session is designed for healthcare professionals who already undertake travel health consultations and want to refresh their knowledge\, explore current challenges and keep up to date with developments in this rapidly changing area.\n\nTopics include:\n\n• Travel Health consultation approach\, risk assessment and key resources\n• Updates in travel vaccines and current guidance\n• Outbreaks and emerging health risks\n• Malaria and insect-borne infections including dengue\, Zika and chikungunya\n• Other important travel health risks\n• Case discussions and practical scenarios\n\nA great opportunity to refresh knowledge\, share experiences and discuss challenges faced in everyday Travel Health practice.\n \nThis training is via the Zoom Online Platform.\n_________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________Previous Feedback \n💬 “Informal\, friendly\, Becky knows her stuff!” \n\n💬 “Excellent Update\, so glad I booked”\n💬 “Great update and resources to use in Practice”\n💬 “Excellent trainer who was very easy to understand and very interesting”\n_________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________Trainer Information \nBecky Swadling is an Independent Travel Health Specialist Nurse with extensive experience in travel medicine\, clinical practice and education. \n\n\nShe completed the Diploma in Travel Medicine in 2006 and is a Fellow of the British Global Travel Health Association (BGTHA)\, Associate Member of the Faculty of Travel Medicine\, and was Module Lead on the Post Graduate Diploma in Travel Medicine (RCSPG).\n\nBecky has extensive experience working in busy travel clinics\, clinic management and developing education programmes for Nurses and Pharmacists.
